FORMERLY TWO BUILDINGS
Built in traditional Normandy red brick the guest house forms an L shape with the main house to the North East. An identical building can be seen on the Napoleonic ground plans that would have faced this building across the gardens, but it has sadly disappeared today.
STABLES CHANGED INTO A WOOD STORE
The first half of the out-houses used to be stables and the second part was for the coaches, horse drawn…. we can still find in the present wood store the rings that horses were tied to.
A HOUSE IN THREE PARTS
The out houses are devised into three parts, a wood store for the chilly winters in Montpincon, two garages for all the gardening tools and a large house. One of the buildings has been opened into an arch to allow the cars to be parked out of site of the house.
THE GUEST HOUSE
The three bedrooms, bathroom, and shower room can easily house a large family and/or many friends. The house has been designed so that those who are staying there are independent from the main house. Despite the closeness of the two buildings this allows several families to share the space easily with it's 2 double beds nd two singles.
